Before starting the synchronization you must specify the target folder. To synchronize with your USB MP3 player, make sure that it is correctly connected to your PC USB port and click the "Browse" button to select your MP3 player folder as the target. If you have some other type of data on your MP3 player, it is recommended to create a dedicated folder on your MP3 player to contain your music. The file synchronization is done under the specified target directory only, the other directories (My Pictures, My Videos...) on your MP3 player will not be touch.

By default the M3USync options are setup to reproduce your playlist on your MP3 player. For each specified playlist, the program will create a sub-directory with the playlist name. It will also use number to prefix your music files. This must be required to playback your playlist in the same order on your MP3 player.

You can now start the file synchronization by clicking on the "Sync" button.

Once you start the synchronization, the program will make the following actions:

• Verify if some music files must be removed from your MP3 player. This may be the case, if on the next synchronization, you remove some files from your playlist or if you remove some playlist from the synchronization list.
• Search for the files that are not on your MP3 player and calculate the amount of space required to add them.
• Verify if there is enough space on your MP3 player to add the missing files.
• Copy the missing files to your MP3 player and display the progression.

Before deleting any files, the program will always display the name of the files and it will ask you to confirm.
